LONDON, March 28. At the wool sales Yorkshire buyers operated freely. Medium and faulty merinoes are firm, prices for best being in buyers’ favour. Eeceived March 30, 12.30 a.m. SYDNEY, March 29. Mr Coghlan’s completed statistics show that the actual wheat yield for 1897-98 amounts to 10,546,288 bushels. [Per Press Association.] WELLINGTON, March 29. The Agent-General cables: —“ Butter, 98s to 102 s; market dull. Cheese, 37s to 40s, dull. Cocksfoot is firm. The season has nearly finished.”
