For the first competition three prizes will be offered. It is essential that the photographs sent in should he suitable for reproduction in the paper; otherwise, they will be considered ineligible for competition. Pictures which bare previously appeared in other journals are p«ohibitcd. Photographs may be printed on any paper by any process, and may be of any size, provided they ba not smaller than quirter-plate. They must be mounted on plain card mounts.
