A POLICE INQUIRY.
— (Tbb Press Association.] AUCKLAND, Marcs 24 An inquiry was held to-day before Inspector Hickson into complaints made by certain citizens against one of the members of the Force. There was also a charge preferred by a constable against his immediate superior officer. The outcome was that the constable tendered his resignation from the Force. A citizen is about to apply for a summons against another constable on the ground that he had exceeded his duty.
