SCHOOL BLOWER SHOW, BELFAST.

The eighth annual flower show of the Belfast District School was held on Wednesday last in connection with the annual school festival. The schoolrooms were tastefully decorated for the occasion. Mr J. Donald, of Willow Villa, Papanui, again repeated his kindness to the school by acting as judge of the flowers. Mr Caldwell was judge of the home pets, and Mesdames Wilson and Swift were judges of the home industries. On account of the dry season there was not such a display of plants and bloom as there was last year, but Mr Donald stated that the exhibits showed a marked advance in culture and arrangement.
