The ballot amongst the members of the Associated Engineers’ Society resulted in one hundred and fifty branches unanimously voting against the employers’ proposals with regard to the freedom of management of, their works, and all excepting; two branches, rejected the proposed compromise for making fifty-one* hours a week’s work by large, majorities.
