[Per Press Association.] THE TICHBOENB CASE. SYDNEY, Nov. 11. Edward Priestman, who is acting under power of attorney for the Eev Edward Williams, Catholic priest, of Devonshire, to-day obtained the sanction of the Court to have William Cresswell,..a lunatic in the Parramatta Asylum, whom Mr Priestman claims to be Sir Eager Tichborne, examined, to discover if marks on his body correspond with those known to have been on that of Sir Koger-Tichborne. A LONG- SITTING. The-sitting of the Legislative.Assembly, which commenced last night, continues, and, it is said, that it is likely to do so for some time, with slight intermissions for refreshment. The Assembly has been discussing the Estimates the whole time. Mr Eeid announced that he did not intend, to adjourn until these.had been finished. A STAMPEDE OF SCHOOL CHILDEEN. ADELAIDE, Nov. 11. The.heat was intense yesterday. During the afternoon.a cloud of dust obscured the sun, and gave it the appearance of a ball of fire. The children in the public school, observingit, stampeded, crying hysterically, believing that the end of the world had arrived.
