W, Costello (wing officer of the 22nd Punjaub Infantry), for bravery in the Swat Valley campaign, Lieutenant Costello was wounded in an attack by the tribesmen upon the British camp at Malakand, but took part in repelling a second attack next day, when he displayed great bravery.
