BOEING FOR PETROLEUM.
[Per Press Association.] NEW PLYMOUTH, Nov. 11,
Petroleum boring operations at Moturoa are suspended, pending the arrival of casing for the bore, which is now down 1562 ft. Meanwhile the staff is erecting a derrick some miles inland preparatory to boring. An additional expert driller is expected next week.
