MAIL NOTICES.

Mails close for the following places as under, subject to the necessary alterations :

Friday, Nov. 12, For Northern Ports of New Zealand, Australian Colonies, India, China, Japan, &c., and 'United Kingdom and Continent of Europe, &c., (specially addressed via Naples and South Africa), and also a supplementary for Fiji, Hawaii, British Columbia, Canada, United States, and specially addressed correspondence for United Kingdom and Continent of Europe, &c., via Vancouver, to connect v/ith Aorangi, leaving Wellington on Nov. 13 (due London Dee. 15), per Waikare, at 4.20 p.m.; late fee letters, 4.35 p.m.; guard’s van, 5.30 p.m. train. Due London Dec. 29.

For Port Robinson and Kaikoura, per Wakatu, at 6.25 p.m.; late fee letters, 6.40 p.m,; guard’s van, 7.45 p.m. train. Saturday, Nov. 16.

For Northern Ports, per Ohau, at 1.45 p.m.; late fee letters, 2 p.m.; guard’s van, 2.45 p.m. train. For Northern Ports, per Te Anau, at 7.45 p.m. ; late fee letters, 8 p.m.; guard’s van, 9.15 p.m. train. For Australian Colonies, Tasmania, South Africa, India, China, Japan,. &c., and also specially addressed correspondence for United Kingdom and Continent of Europe, &c. (via Naples), per express, to connect with Wakatipu at 10.30 a.m.; late fee letters, 10.40 a.m.; mail van, 11 a.m. train.

Mails for South Africa leave Melbourne on Nov. 19 and Dec. 2. The next mail for London via San Francisco leaves Nov. 24. Due London Dec. 29.

Mails for Fiji, per Hauroto, close at Auckland at 4 p.m. on Dee. 1.
