TENDERS will be received at the General Post Office, Wellington, until TUESDAY, 31st August, for the supply of such PARCEL* POST HAMPERS AND BASKETS as may he required for n period of three years from the Ist September, 1897, to the Slut August, 1900. Orders for hampers will be given for lots of about 50 at one time, and the successful contractor must be prepared to make delivery of such lots at the rate of six hampers a week. _ Samples may be seen at the Chief Post Ofliees throughout the colony. Tenders to be accompanied by a completed sample of each of the three kinds of hampers in use, and of the basket and bottle-basket for mailbags.
