FOOTBALL.
At Lancaster Park to-day the chief interest will be centred in the match between Otago University and Canterbury College. The southern! team comes up with a good record for the season, and the local men include some of the pick of our senior teams, so that there, should be an exciting contest. A trial match for interprovincial honours will also be played on the same ground. The East Christchurch School and Normal School .teams played a match on the North Park yesterday afternoon, the former winning by nine points (three tries) to nil. Tries were scored by Drake, Gibbs and Neill.
