As- the .question was first brought before the Board by the .deputation, of the Addington School Committee, my' fellowteachers prefer that it should he decided by the Board, or by its executive officers, I the inspectors. I know that I agree with the majority of Canterbury teachers when I say that we would gladly welcome a resolution of the Board expressing its .disapproval of the practice of canvassing for pupils who are already attending school.— I am, &c., T.
