SIR; —For. years past I have advocated the federation of unions, and I, therefore, have much pleasure in stating that I entirely agree, with “ Radical ” in his sensible.letter on the above sub ject. lam also at one with him in advocating counterattractions to the hotels. If suitable places of amusement were provided for the young, whore no intoxicating drinks were sold, it would often keep our boys out of the hotels and would, undoubtedly, be a step in.the right direction.—l am, &c., 'j PRO BONO PUBLICO.
