The total quantity of wheat and flour afloat for tlie Dinted Kingdom is 840,000 quarters, and for the Continent 640,000 quarters. Tallow —Prices are unchanged. Silver—2s 2|d.
The New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Company, Limited, has received the following cable message dated LONDON, July 28.
Frozen Meat. —Marker weaker. Canterbury, Otago and Wellington mutton are worth respectively 3£d, 3£d and 2|d per lb. Last quotations were respectively 3Jd, 3|d and 3gd. Canterbury and Otago lamb are worth respectively 3fd and 3Ad per lb. Last quotations were respectively 4|d and 4d per lb. Tallow.—Market firmer. Medium tallow has advanced 3d per cwt since last report.
