FPbb Pbess Association.] AUCKLAND, Apbil 4. In the alleged sly grog-selling case at Coromandel, the defendant pleaded not guilty. The witness for the police in his evidence stated that drinks had been served, but he admitted that no tender in the shape of money had been accepted. The case thereupon was dismissed. A fire broke out on the steamer Douglas early this morning, caused by the cargo of lime. The cargo was thrown overboard, and the vessel was uninjured.
