Mails close for the following places as under, subject to the necessary alterations:— Monday, April 5. For Westport, per Janet Niooll, at 11.10 a.m.; late fee letters, 11.20 a.m.; guard’s van, 12.10 p.m. train. For Westport, per Orowaiti, at 4,20 p.m.; late fee letters, 4.36 p.m.; guard’s van, 5.30 p.m. train. For Northern Ports, per Te Anau, at 7.45 p.m.; late fee letters, 8 p.m.; guard’s van, 9.15 p.m. train. Tuesday, April 6. For Northern Ports and Westport, per Penguin, at 7.45 p.m,; late fee letters, 8 p.m.; guard’s van, 9.15 p.m. train.
Mails for Australia, &0., per Tasmania, close at Auckland on April 5, at 4.30 p.m. Mails leave Sydney for Norfolk Island and New Hebrides on April 7, and for Noumea on April 8. Mails for Tonga, Samoa and Fiji, per Oyalau, close at Auckland on April 7, at 4 p.m, E. Eirton, Chief Postmaster.
