PROFESSOR KIEK, Edinburgh, in his papers “ On Health,” says : “In a visit we paid to Belfast lately we lighted upon a White Hard Soap made by McClinton and Thomson, which is, to our thinking, the very sort of thing we could wish for almost all purposes. We believe the making of this is a secret in possession ot this firm alone, but their price is not at all high. The Soap, which is excellent for ordinary purposes, sells retail for 5d per Ih, and should be used not only for curative purposes, hut for ordinary as well. It is made of Banllaash. “ Several roap-makers claim to he makers of Barilla Soap, insisting that their soap is as good as McClinton and Ihomson’s. It is far cheaper.
