NORFOLK ISLAND.
[Pee Pebss Association.] LONDON, Maech 29/ Mr Chamberlain states that the new rules for governing Norfolk Island apply to the keeping of alcohol. Under the existing law the importation of spirituous liquors, excepting for medicinal purposes, is absolutely prohibited, and there is no reason, he adds, to suppose that the sale of liquor is intended under the new rules.
