WORK AID WAGES.
[Pee Press Association.]
WELLINGTON, March 5.
At a meeting of representatives of the building trades to-night, all branches were represented except the plasterers. It was decided to urge a reduction of weekly hours, so that work should cease at noon on Saturday, instead of at 12.45 p.m., as at present. A deputation was appointed to bring the matter before the Employers’ Association, find another to wait, on the plasterers, asking their co-operation.
