EDISON’S KINETOSCOPE.

Mr Campbell Colquhoun still keeps busy in High Street, and although his show has been running both' in the daytime and evening for three weeks, there is no fallingoff in the attendance. The first of the new pictures on view represents Caicedo, the world’s champion dancer on the slack wire. His marvellous performances are vividly reproduced, and the rebound of the wire is plainly seen. The reproduction by the phonograph of the applause of the American spectators at his feats,; lends realism to the scene. The next picture is that of a Samoan lady, the Princess A.H, performing the famous “Danse duVentre/* in which every, movement is dear and life-like. Those who are fond of Scottish dances can see a really good Highland fling performed, , and those who are bold enough to run the .risk can listen at tjhe same time to the accompaniment as, played bir the champion pipe-player of SouthhuKL Coming to the phonographs, the stock of records is largo and varied. The performance of the Wdlington Garrison Bandcompares mprp than faypnrably vdth any-im-ported record, The “ Charjge of the Light ■Brigade,” by an experienced reciter,. is well worth hearing.. Visitors can have the choice of a large collection of songs and music, and a short address by Mr T. E. Taylor, M.H.E., on the probable future of prohibition, will interest many. Mr Colquhoun’s stay is now drawing to a dose, and he intends to pay Bahgiora a visit before proceeding south. ,
