The New Zealand Shipping Company’s fine steamer Waimate sailed yesterday evening for Wellington, where she loads a heivoutward cargo. The New Zealand Shipping Company’s E.M.S.S. Kaikaura left port yesterday evening for Wellington. The barques City of Adelaide and Con-,, cordia were berthed yesterday, and will discharge coal to-day. The barque which arrived at Lyttelton on Sunday, and which was reported as being the Alexandra, is the Concordia, from Newcastle, coal-laden and consigned to Messrs W. White and Co. TIMAETJ. The s.s. Brunner, with Westport coal and sundries, arrived on Sunday morning, and after discharging yesterday went south in the evening. The schooner Croydon Lass arrived on Sunday from Lyttelton with 66 casks of tallow for the ship Tura'lrina. The schooner Clyde sailed for Wanganui early yesterday morning with 142 tons of flour and 50 sacks of barley. The s.s. Herald arrived from Dunedin and Oaraaru yesterday afternoon, bringing stores from Dunedin and some wool from Oamaru for the Turakina. .A barque, .probably the Carnegie, 982 tons, to load for London on account of the New Zealand Shipping Company, was bqing brought in last evening. The shipping in port yesterday had their flags at half-mast in token of respect to the late Strong Work Morrison,, the first regular pilot at Timaru, whoso funeral took place in the afternoon. The barque Lake Erie, seventeen days from Newcastle, arrived yesterday.
