WOODEND SPORTS.

Tho annual -sports were held on the Recreation Ground, Woodend, on Boxing Day. Tho leather proved favourable, and the attendance was good. The Kaiapol Baud played a number of selections. Messrs ,T. Sampson, C. d’Auvcrgnc, D. C. Shilton and W. Eraser acted as judges, and carried out their dirties impartially, and Mr F. Harrell had charge of the pistol. The members of the committee and the secretary (Ms W. Smith) and the treasurer (Mr It. Petrie) worked hard during the day to make the sports a success.
