MINING.

The discovery .of rich telluride gold in the Boulder main reef makes it pretty certain that all the mines in which, deposits of mustard ore have occurred in the upper levels have tellurium in the deeper levels. This form of gold is easy to recover. Recent developments point to the fact that the deeper the mines go the richer they become. 1 A good supply of fresh water has been struck at the West Boulder mine. His is the first strike of fresh water within, twenty-five miles of Kalgoorlie.
AUCKLAND, Nov. 22. The fifteenth dividend (2s per share) lias been declared by the Waihi Company. GEEYMOUTH, Nov. 23. The coal exports for the week amounted to 1763 tons.
WESTPORT, Nov. 22.
The coal export for the week ended Nov. 21 was 5064 tons 2 cwt, as follows*— Westport Coal Company 3611 tons 8 cwt, Cardiff Company 1452 tons 14 cwt.
DUNEDIN, Not. 21.
The return from the Sew Hoy dredges for the past week was 330 z sdwt 18gr of gold. The Moa dredge, Clyde, for Hie last week washed up 660 z of gold. The Sew Hoy Big Beach return is 33d* sdwt 18grs of gold for the week. INVERCARGILL, Nov. 2L
A cake of 400 oz of gold from a£czushhig of 317 tons of stone at the Morning Star mine. Preservation Inlet, was brought to town to-day by the steamer InvercargilL It is valued at £1640. The value of the gold won from the mine since August last year is over £13,000. [From Our Correspondent.] EEEFTON, Nov. 22.

Owing to the limit of business the above quotations are nominal.
Dredging returns—Duller dredge 230 z 13dwt of gold for 132 hours’ dredging, Cocksparrow dredge 350 z 16dwt 12gr of amalgam for 187 hours.
