CHRISTCHURCH. Friday, August 28. (Before Mr E. Green, J.P., Mr W. Rollitt, J.P., and Mr E. H. Ricketts, J.P.) Alleged Failing to Support.— Henry William Parsons was brought up, on a warrant from Wellington, charging him with failing to support his wife and two children. On the application of SergeantMajor Mason, the accused was remanded to appear at Wellington on August 31. Cows Wandering.— George Taylor was fined 5s and costs for allowing a cow to wander in Oxford Terrace. Mary M'Swigan was fined Ids and costs for allowing one to wander in Park Road, Linwood. AMBERLEY. Friday, August 28. (Before Mr S. Coleman, J.P., Mr A. Greig, J.P. and Mr W. S. Smith, J.P.) Drunkenness. —James Dwan, a prohibited nerson, was fined 10s, in default forty-eight hours’ imprisonment.
