THE DAVIS VERTICAL FEED SEWING MACHINE. The groat success of this machine is due to the fact that it is the only machine that feeds, the work whilst the needle is through the material being sewn, thereby preventing the possibility of puckering, gathering, or chiving. Basting is consequently quite unnecessary. The vertical toed also enables it to run over seams and from thin substances to very thick with freedom and ease. Messrs Hinson and Co. fully demonstrated these qualities at the late •exhibition. The price and terms place it in the teach of all. 4356
