THE NEWCASTLE MINERS. [Per Press Association.J SYDNEY, March 28. Several coal-owners have already consented to attend the conference, but several of the larger proprietors are known to intend to refuse, holding that no good can result, as previous conferences have always.proved abortive. . It is now definitely understood that the southern miners will assist the northerners financially, but will not join in the strike.
