[Pee Press Association;] NAPIBE, Oct. 25. At the Magistrate's Court, Waipawa, a boy named John Tracey, aged seventeen, was charged with setting fire to the Te Ante railway station, and stealing articles from the refreshment-room. The evidence showed that two fall bottles pf brandy and a quantity of tobacco were found in the accused’s bag, but there was not sufficient evidence to connect the boy with the fire. Tracey was found guilty of theft, and sentenced to three months’ hard labour. The b,b. Hawke’s Bay, which left for London last night, took the largest cargo of frozen meat over sent from here by one vessel—76,B62 carcases and 3444 bales of wool.
