AVONSIDE ACCIDENT.

TO THE EDITOR. Sib,—l see by this morning’s paper that someone signing himself “ Spectator ” has replied to your paragraph in regard to the above. Aa I saw the accident I should like to point out to “ Spectator ” he is wrong in bis letter of this morning. I saw a horse and rider coming towards me, and when about one hundred and fifty yards from me, the horee started prancing about. Just then I saw two dogs coming up behind it. The horse caught sight of them, and started to rear. The dogs then made for the horse, and one started jumping up at the horse’s head. The horse plunged and threw the rider and in falling the man almost fell on one of the dogs which followed the horse up the street to within a few yards of where I was standing.—l am,M
