SYDNEY, June 13.

News by the Catterthun, which has just arrived with new teas, states that half the town of Wiljata was burned. Two thousand four hundred houses were destroyed, and several persons perished in the flames. Cholera is raging in Saigon and Cholon, and many deaths have been recorded. The plague in Hong Kong is abating. Only sixteen deaths have been reported in the last three months.

The premises of the Chinese Inland Mission at Pauining-Pa were wrecked by rioters. The missionaries fled to the city to escape being killed.
