WELLINGTON ITEMS.
[Per Press Association.] WELLINGTON, July 13. Me G. Heels has been appointed Manager for the Woollen Company. There was the sharpest frost last night that has been experienced for many years. The temperature in the shade was 32deg, and the minimum record was 20deg, which is exceptionally low for Wellington. With the exception of Wednesday afternoon, there has been a succession of clear days for nearly a fortnight.
