Mails close for the following places as under, subject to the necessary alterations Monday, July 15. For Northern Ports and Greymouth, per Herald, at 12.30 p.m.; late fee letters, 12.45p.m.;. guard’s van, 1.25 p.m. train. For Akaroa, per Brunner, at 10 a.m.; late fee letters, 10.15 a.m.; guard’s van, 10.55 a.m. train. Tuesday, July 16. For Northern Ports and Australian colonies, and also for the United Kingdom and Europe (via Naples), India, China, Japan, &c., per Talune, at 7.45 p.m.; late fee letters, 8 p.m.; guard’s van, 9.15 p.m. train.
