THE CHARGES OF CHILD MURDER.

The Courthouse was crowded this morning when Minnie and Charles Dean were jointly charged with murder. Inspector Pardy stated that since the last remand it" had been ascertained that the name of the child taken by Mrs Dean from Winton on May 2, and supposed to have disappeared between Dipton and Lumsdeu, was Dorothy Eriitii Carter. As an inquest was pending, a further remand was granted for seven days.
■lt is rumoured that inquiries have been mads in Christchurch ia reference to one of the dead children which is supposed to have been taken from here.
