[Pub Press i ssociation.l AUCKLAND, Mat 14. A swagger named !ThoiU£.s Booth, who said he had tramped from Napier and could not get work, broke two largo panes of glass in the Papakura Courthouse. Constable Foreman arrested him, and the Papakura Bench fined the man £2, and 10a for the damages done, with the alternative of one month’s hard labour. O’Donnell, a gumdigger at Lucas’s Creek, has been missing for a fortnight. All his effects are in bia tout. He was eccentric, and ia supposed to have committed suicide. Tho Hon Sir P. A. Buckley, AttorneyGeneral, arrived from Botorua by train, after having spent a couple of weeks at tho sanatorium taking a course of baths. Sir Patrick wna suffering from rheumatism, of which, however, he has been completely cured. On faia way down by train ho received a telegram at Mercer from the Premier, requesting him to sea hia Excellency tho Governor on certain matters. Sir Patrick has also some departmental matters to attend to.
