ATTEMPTED SUICIDE.
TPeb Passe Association.! NAPIER, Mat 13, . At the Magistrate’s Court this morning Arthur Newman, a remittance man, was charged with attempted suioide at the Provincial Hotel. He was ordered to pay the costa, and bound over to keep the peace. The case excited considerable attention, owing to Bamford, another remittance man, having died from excessive drinking at the earne hotel a few days ago.
