ODDFELLOWSHIP.
[Per Press Association.] NELSON. Mat IS. At a enecial. meeting cf the Management Committee of the Nelson district, 1.0.0. F., M.U., it was resolved, in reply to th* questions submitted by the Otago districts :—“ That this meeting favours a uniform scale of contributions»and benefits, with a table of surrender - values, for the colony for all members joining, subsequently. This would leave the present members under the scales now-in. force,-* and the meeting is of opinion' that by groupingdistricts, as suggested by Actuary' Leslie, the 1 difficulty regarding; * clearance of present members would bet overcome. The meeting suggests Welhngton/for the assembling,of a conference, and will send delegates.”
