CHINA AND JAPAN.
[Special to Press Association.] THE CHINESE LOAN. PAEIS, May 11, M. Hanotaux, Minister of Foreign Affairs, invites leading French financiers to consider the impending Chinese loan of one hundred and eighty million pounds. May 13. The Chinese loan. will probably be issued in equal shares in Germany, England, Franca and Eussia. French financiers are in favour of a first issue of fifty million pounds, the .balance at intervals to prevent swamping the. market. SHANGHAI, May 13. It is reported here that Enssia claims Port Lazaraff, with a radius of two hundred miles of territory. China is willing to admit the claim, but Japan proposes to limit the territory to ten miles.
