ACCIDENTS AND FATALITIES.
Several minor accidents were treated at the hospital yesterday, all the injured persons leaving the institution after being attended to. George Williams had one of hia hands cut and crushed while working at a sand-paper wheel; John Bidmeade had a cub thumb dressed; Frank Liskey was attended to for a wounded finger; and W. Winter had a crushed thumb dressed. A man named William Ferguson was taken to the hospital last evening, suffering from sn injury to his spine. He waa ia tho employ of the N.Z. Farmers’ Cooperative Association, and some days ago waa hurt by a horse falling on him. His injuries were at the time thought to bo trifling, but yesterday more serious symptoms appeared, and it was thought advisable to remove him to tho hospital.
