MARKET REPORTS.
WEEKLY SKIN SALES. Medium entries were the rule at tho weekly suctions of sheepskins, hides and fat yesterday. The trade was well represented, but biddings throughout lacked animation, and the’market was uneven, in several cases last week’s prices being barely maintained. The bulk of the entry consisted of butchers’ skins, but a few lines of station skins came forward, and for full-wool cross-breda sold st up to 4s Id, lighter sorts at 2s lOd. There was lifctlo demand for poorly-saved rough fat, but soma good dry fat brought up to 12-d per lb. All bides and calfskins were cleared at tariff rates. Prices realised were as follow : —Best half-brads 2a 9d to 8s 7d, medium do 2a to 2a sd, best longwools from Ss to 4s, medium do 3s 3d to 2a 9d, best merinos Is 3d to Is Sd, madium do Sd to Is, cross-bred lambak.as Is lid to 2s sd, country skins, best crosii-brecls to 2o 4d and merinos to Is; rough fat i£d to lid. __
