A HORRIBLE TRAGEDY.
WITCHCRAFT IN IRELAND. [Special to Press Association,] LONDON, April 7.
The Clonmel Bench committed for trial nine residents of Bally valoa for the murder of Bridget Cleary. The unfortunate woman was roasted over a fire in order to extort admission that she was a witch. The husband, father, aunts, and cousins of the victim, are implicated in the crime.
