THE SHOP HOURS BILL.

TO THE EDITOR,

Sib, —Can you or any of your readers inform me where I can find anyone who understands the Shop Hours Bill ? I had no idea that such complications would arise over what I thought would ba a very simple reform. What seems to be law in one place is not law in another. Would it not be better to make it compulsory for all to close, instead of having to part with a portion of their livelihood? Now this Shop Hours Bill has gob to be mended or ended, and I am in favour of it being mended. If tbe Upper House puts any more obstacles in the way, the sooner that body of obstructionists are ended the better. Please lot me know if you come across anyone who can properly interpret the Bill in question and oblige.—l am, &c., =* VERY ANXIOUS.
