TVT OTICE is hereby given that the Council of the County of Selwyn intends, after the expiration of thirty days from the publication of this notice, to CONSTRUCT A WATER-RACE within the Malvern Water-Supply District in the said county, which water-race shall commence at a point on the main water-race opposite the westernmost corner of E.S. 19733, and shall extend thence in a north-easterly direction along the south-western side of Creyke’s Road to the north-western corner of B.S. 19733, thence in an easterly direction along the southern side of Homehush Road to the northwestern corner of Reserve 341, thence through Reserve 341 in an easterly direction, along the northern boundary of the said reserve to its northeastern corner. , And notice is also, hereby given that for the purj pose of making such water-race, the said Coimei* intends to acquire the interest of the owners ana occupiers in a strip of land twelve and a halt links wide, being part of Reserve 341, as shown on the plan hereinafter mentioned. And notice is also hereby given that a plan showing the course of such water-race, and the lands, roads and reserves over or through which it is intended that the same shall pass and certified as required by suh-section (2) of section 13 of the Water Supply Act, 1891, has been deposited at the Magistrates' Courthouse at Christchurch, and also at the office of the said Council, and that the said plan will he open to public inspection at the said places for a period of thirty days after the publication of this notice.
