Mails close for the following places as under, subject to the necessary alterations : Saturday, March 2. For Northern Porte, per Rotorua, at 7.45 p.m.; late fee letters, 8 p.m.; guard’s van, 9.15 p.m. train. For United Kingdom, &c. (via Brindisi), India, China, Japan, &c., Australian Colonies and Dunedin, per Tarawera, at 11.10 a.m,; lata fee letters, 11.20 a.m.; guard’s van, 12.10 p.m. train. Due London April 16. For Greymouth, per Rosamond, at 7.45 p.m.; late fee letters, 8 p.m.; guard’s van, 9.15 p.m. train. For Wellington and West Coast Ports, per Wareatea, at 3 p.m.; late fee letters, 3.15 p.m,; guard’s van, 4 p.m. train. For United Kingdom, via San Francisco, March 20, due London April 24. E.
