The New Zealand Pabmebb’ Co-brES-ative Association of Canteebuet, Limited, reports for the week ending Friday, Jan; 25, as follows ;—Business in grain and’produce during, the weak has been dragging, although fair quantities continue to move off both for-export and local consumption. Wheat has a much firmer tone, and buyers have shown more 'disposition to meatcellers. The'quantity availableds now restricted, and themarket is in a very f sensitive condition. Oats.— The export' for the week shows large, but is due to clearances, of Horn award-bound vessels. For export - coastwise there has been a fair demand, chiefly foe Dims of good quality. Inferior and loug-feecLare neglected. Barley is not yet quotable. "Beans and peas 'are •' without- alteration. Eyegrass is in brisk demand, aad prices for prime’ quality samples are in buyers* favour. Cocksfoot ia, not yet on offer in sufficient quantity to give reliable quotations. Dairy produce unchanged, and in full eupply. Present quotations f.o.b. Lyttelton, sacks, extra Whea—t milling. Pearl, ’ Yelvafc,-or Tuscan, 2s 7d; Hunter’s, 2s 6cl; 'aecond-clasg ld to 2d par bushel less; fowls' wheat, 2s4d. Oats.—Milling Canadians, Is sd; abort feed, la 4d to Is sd; Danish; Is &Jd; Duns, la sd. Peas.—(Nominally) Dice Pmssiane, 2s 6d to 2s 9d. Beans, 2s 3d to 3a 4d.
