Wreckers plundered and burned the hull of the Keareage. A SENSATIONAL STORY. PARIS, March 29. Figaro publishes details, said to be supplied by M. Fiourens, ex-Minister, of negotiations between France and Germany when MM. Ferry and Busson were Ministers in 1887, upon the basis that France should drop the idea of revenge for the loss of Alsace and Lorraine, and that Germany should help her to oust the English from Egypt. A change, however, of Ministry ia England, and the accession of Lord Salisbury to power, upset the negotiations.
