"Skill does greater works than strength.” Hard work is materially lessened by the use of SAPOLIO. Try a cake in your next house-cleaning. In 1893 149,150 British emigrants sailed for the United States, being a decrease of 889 as compared with the total for 1893, and 2-4,759 for Canada, chewing an increase ot 1505. The number of British emigrants bound for Australia ia shown to have fallen from 15,950 to 11,264, while the South African return baa risen from 9891 to 13.092. The great Tower Bridge, uniting Tower Street on the north bank of the Thames with Tooley Street on the south, is now practically completed. The bridge as it at present remains ia of little real utility owing to the determination of the County Council not to go on with the approaches until “betterment”has bseo sanctioned by the Peers.
