[Special to Press Association. I LONDON, Jan. 20. The Speaker has appointed Lord SLand Chairman of the Minors’ Conciliation Board. SYDNEY, Jan. 27. Fourteen strikers have returned to work in the South Btilli colliery. A deputation from tho ranks of the strikers will wait on them, and rcipueot them to discontinue work. Ero Bleach, of the Bawhiti Assembly, Christchurch, visited Timam last week, and formed a branch of the Knights of Labour in that town.
