Canterbury College, Juno 13,1893. I Haro just completed an Analysis of Samples of each of the articles of food manufactured by Messrs Trent Bros. The Analysis shows tho samples to be of Excellent Quality well prepared and Absolutely free from the smallest trace of any ' kind of deleterious matter. Those samples wore selected personally from bulk, without any notice being given that I intended to ptoouro them, I having boon retained more than fifteen years ago by the Messrs Trent Eros, to make analyses at such times as might bo convenient to mvself. In making those analyses I was so struck with the uniform excellence of their manufacture, that for morothan twelve years wo have never knowingly used any other brand of any of tho articles' of food manufactured by tho firm. I would, however, advise purchasers to obtain goods with Trent Bros.’ Brand, as more than once very inferior samples of bulk goods have" been sold to us as Messrs Trent’s manufacture; on tailing these samples to Messrs Trent and com-' paring them with their own bulk goods, they have been proved to bo spurious. I have on several occasions been through tho factory, and can testify to tho care taken to procure High-class Materials, and to ensure cleanliness and purity in tho process, and uniform excellence in the manufacture.
