CANTERBURY MUSEUM.
The Curator acknowledges, with thanks, the following donations to the museum during the three months ending Dec. 31, 1893 :—A five-dollar note (Louisiana), Mr H. Schofield ; ancient Egyptian pottery, Mr Philip Whiteway; a greenstone adze, Mr Alfred Miller; a moth, Master V. Hutton; New Zealand seaweeds, Mr E. M. Laing; three crabs, Mr W. T. Thompson ; Tinamous from South America, Mr W. R. Congreve; a moth from Mount Cook, Mr J. Adamson; a sooty albatross, Mias Robison; New Zealand land shells and marine worms, Mr H. Suter; two skulls of New Zealand dolphin?. Sir J. Hector ;a petrel from Antipodes Island, Mr A. W. Bethune; a whale bird, Mrs Wilson; a yellow lizard. Master Sydney Clark.
