At the Rafcaia gale, Mr J. Q, Eestell offered the privileges in connection with, the sports. Tho publican’s booth fell to Mr H. Britton, JSI6; refreshment booth, Mr W, Morton, J£7; right of sports, Mr Sbellock, .£1 7s 6d, and the right to sell cards, Mr Pluck, <£ll2s 6d, The followir.g are the nominations and handicaps Maiden Trot, of two miles— Cass, ecratch; Kara, lOsec ; Loyal, Buckeye, Billy and Grieg, 12aec; Mack, IGaeoj Damper, 18aec, and Robert, 22sec. Threemile Trot—Cass, scratch; Karo, ISseo; Loyal, Buckeye, Billy and Boston Maid, 20secj Robert 35sec. Acceptances and general entries for the other horse and athletic events will: close on Saturday evening. The coarse is in good order and the grounds are looking •well generally, ail the trees planted in the Domain during the'past three years having grown well. Given a fine day, there is every reason to expect a large attendance and a good day’s amusement, as the stewards are working hard to insure the comfort of all visitors.
