Tallow—Medium mutton 275, beef 26s 3d. The English wheat market is inclined to buoyancy. The continental is a little brighter and the American is improving. Eor Australian forward shipments sellers are asking 295, but buyers will not give more than 28s 6d. For Australian wheat, off coast, sellers want 28a 9d, but buyers refuse to give more than 28s 3d. For New Zealand wheat, off coast, sellers are asking 27a, buf buyers want it for 26s 6d. A cargo of wheat by the barque North, from Lyttelton, was sold at 26a. Australian and New Zealand batter is unchanged. The shipment of pork by the Tekoa is selling at 6jd per ib-. In the House of Commons Mr George W. E. Russell, member for Biggleswade, has introduced a Bill empowering India to borrow ten millions sterling, as the closing of the mints has reduced the value of bills. YfASHINGTON, Dec. 11.
